Azerbaijani Ambassador to Israel visited the Red Village

Newly appointed Azerbaijani Ambassador to Israel Mukhtar Mammadov visited the Guba region.
As part of the trip, Ambassador M. Mammadov, deputy of the Milli Majlis Anatoly Rafailov honored the memory of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and laid flowers at the monument to the great leader. In addition, the Ambassador and Milli Majlis visited the Azerbaijani-Turkish Brotherhood Park in connection with the earthquake that occurred in Turkey.

Then, the ambassador and the Azerbaijani parliamentarian visited the Red Village where they laid flowers at the monument to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. They visited the Mountain Jews Museum, the Gilyaki synagogue and other places of cultural and historical heritage.

In addition, Ambassador M. Mammadov also visited the Gusar region, honoring the memory of the Mountain Jew Gavriil Abramovich Ilizarov, a Soviet orthopedic surgeon who is the inventor of the Ilizarov apparatus.
