    The desire of the Mountain Jews to live in the Holy Land has not died out for many years. The first mass wave of aliyah began in the 70s of the 20th century, when Mountain Jews made up 1% of the total number of Jews repatriated from the USSR. After the collapse of the USSR, the vast majority of mountain Jews moved to their historical homeland. This topic is emphasized in the Museum of Mountain Jews.
