Israeli specialists got acquainted with the history and cultural sights of the village located in the Guba region. At the beginning of the tour, the guide of the Red Village information center Regina Yusufova introduced tourists the house of the Agababaev merchants. Then, they visited the hall of celebrations "Palace of Happiness", which in the past housed a synagogue. Israeli doctors got acquainted with the project of rehabilitation of a Jewish traditional house and visited the world's first and only Mountain Jewish Museum, where they got familiar with the rich history of Mountain Jews.
Mickey Giddon, Head of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery at the “Soroka” Medical Center in Beersheba, gave a lecture to the residents of Krasnaya Sloboda on the topic "Siamese twins" in the conference hall of the Museum of Mountain Jews. The Israeli specialist spoke about his own experience, presented the subtleties of his practice.
At the end of the program, the guests tried the national cuisine of the Mountain Jews and were impressed by an interesting walk through the Jewish village.
